About Adria (Dria) Olaleye, AMFT #120787
Dria Olaleye, AMFT #120787 received her B.A. in psychology from UCLA and M.S. in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling (MCFC) from Walden University. With over 25 years of experience in the social services field, helping people is what Dria is most passionate about. In her therapeutic role, she enjoys equipping and empowering adults and children from multicultural backgrounds as they work through issues such as drug addiction, life stressors, anxiety, depression, loss, sexual abuse, trauma, relationship conflict, and mental illness. She is a Level II trained Gottman therapist and Seven Principles of Making Marriage Work facilitator. Dria works under the supervision of Dr. Martin Oliveras, LMFT #38080.
Therapeutic interventions used in our journey together are specific to the unique needs of each individual. Dria utilizes interventions from Gottman Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Reality Theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Family Systems Therapy, Impact Therapy, the Creative Arts, and Mindfulness-Based practices to provide supportive, and strengths-based therapeutic services to families, couples, children, and groups within the local and faith-based community.
